About NCVITAL The purpose of the NCVITAL website is to provide information and training concerning accessibility issues, compliance guidelines, and policies. It provides a central repository concerning issues related to meeting accessibility requirements for NC Community College campuses.
Original Mission The NC Community College System participated in a grant to provide information and training concerning accessibility issues, compliance guidelines and policies. The results of this initiative were implemented statewide for use by all community colleges. Assistive technologies were identified and training was conducted to assist colleges in meeting these requirements. This project was a collaborative effort among Catawba Valley Community College, Blue Ridge Community College, and Surry Community College in partnership with the North Carolina Community College System. The purpose of this website was to provide a central repository concerning issues related to meeting accessibility requirements for community college campuses. Funded by Carl D.
