Campus Accessibility Procedures for Verifying Your Campus Meets Accessibility Requirements Each campus should have an accessibility scan performed to ensure access for all students. Both Blue Ridge and Catawba Valley Community College have had accessibility scans performed on their campuses by consultants at the North Carolina Assistive Technology Program. The following is a summary of the accessibility observations noted on these campuses. Guidelines for accessibility to buildings and facilities by individuals with disabilities for existing facilities were used to measure the overall campus accessibility. These summary items should not be considered a substitute for federal accessibility guidelines and/or appropriate state and local building codes.
