Magnification Devices

Illuminated Magnifiers
An illuminated magnifier provides direct light on the materials to be read.  There are three types of illumination available to meet varied needs of the visually impaired; incandescent, halogen and fluorescent.  Informational website:  http://www.eschenbach.com

Handheld Magnifiers
Simple magnifiers that are most frequently used for short-term  viewing, such as reading a food label or price tag.  Informational website:  http://www.eschenbach.com

Stand Magnifier
These devices sit directly on the reading material and are used for longer term taks such as reading the newspaper.  Some stand magnifiers can also be used for writing.  Informational website:  http://www.eschenbach.com

Head Borne Magnifiers
